Mediterranean Coast

This coastal region of Turkey, commonly known as the Turquoise Coast, is almost 1,000 miles in length and is dotted with excellent sandy beaches and many ancient historical ruins. It has to be the first place to consider when choosing a holiday in Turkey. While the Aegean coastal region is in itself fantastic, the Turquoise Coast has more and better beaches and a wider selection of places to visit.

The majority of the coast has the imposing and beautiful Taurus Mountains as a backdrop, often meeting the sea vertically. A holiday along the Turquoise Coast offers something for everyone; whether you're into sunbathing, nature, photography, sports, sailing, or archaeology, you'll find it here.

The two main airports to access this region are Dalaman and Antalya, with most international airlines having direct flights to each.
