Soller is a beautiful rural town in the West of Mallorca. Set between mountains and sea surrounded by lush greenery and orange groves, this is a popular destination for tourists given its easy access from Palma using the vintage train. This journey passes through some extraordinary scenery with the train itself dating back to 1912.
Life in Soller tends to revolve around the Placa Constitucio where there are many cafes and restaurants not too mention the orange juice and ice cream bars! The town hosts a local market and is also home to three museums and an art gallery, it even hosts a number of festivals throughout the year.
The area is very popular for hiking and there are many trails that run from the town either into the mountains or along the coast including the well known ‘Dry Stone Route’ running from Andratx in the South to Pollenca in the North. Cyclists are also in abundance with many trails and tracks to choose from.
