Overview

Azure Shores Villa spans 310 square metres and sits atop a sand dune, perfectly oriented Westward to capture breathtaking sunsets and distant views of the Arrábida hills. It's curved rooftop terrace features a unique pool, an ideal spot to unwind at sunset. Praia do Pego beach is just a short stroll away through fragrant pine woods filled with lavender and rosemary, with direct beach access running right in front of the villa.

Set in the beautiful Comporta region within the Sado Estuary Nature Reserve, where the Sado River meets the Atlantic this area is renowned for its unspoilt beaches, rice fields, pine forests, and laid back charm, long favoured by Portuguese families and international creatives alike, including Christian Louboutin.

Accommodation 

This contemporary luxury villa is designed for relaxed yet elegant living, featuring stylish open plan interiors arranged around a central courtyard ideal for outdoor dining. Floor to ceiling windows, smooth stone finishes, slatted wood details, and statement furnishings create a striking modern aesthetic, while year round comfort is ensured with a fireplace and underfloor heating throughout. A private walkway lined with prairie flowers surrounds the property, complemented by a children’s playground thoughtfully integrated into the natural setting.

Please note: due to some unprotected drops from exterior terraces and staircases (onto sand dunes), the villa may not be suitable for unsupervised toddlers; however, families are well catered for with toys and a dedicated children’s play area.

The villa opens into an entrance hall with a guest WC, leading to a TV room equipped with cable TV, a DVD player, wireless internet, and an iPod docking station. This connects to a comfortable sitting room with a cards and games table; both spaces share a double-sided fireplace and feature full-height French windows with wooden shutters, opening onto a long west-facing terrace (without railings). There is a Larder and kitchen with central work island, open plan dining area which opens to the central courtyard for outdoor dining or rear terrace
