Overview

Villa Malaya is a magnificent Premier Villa situated in the remote and luxurious golf resort of Pinheiros Altos, in Quinta do Lago, part of the central Algarve, Portugal. The villa has 6 bedrooms, one of which is in a separate annexe, ideal for families of multiple generations.

The villa is within a mile of the beautiful Quinta beachfront, a 5 minute drive from the shops, tennis courts and a variety of well renowned restaurants and golf courses.

Pinheiros Altos Golf Resort is located in the heart the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve, a nationally protected area known for its outstanding splendor. This superb villa is just 15 minutes from Faro airport and is within a couple of miles of Quinta beachfront, with its many great restaurants. It is also just a 15 minute walk from the picturesque salt flats of the Ria Formosa.

Unlike most of the villas in this resort this property cannot be seen by the surrounding 27 stunning holes of Pinheiros Golf Course. This brings a beneficial element of privacy which is hard to find in such developments in the Algarve.

Accommodation

Villa Malaya can accommodate 12 guests.

The ground floor boasts a modern open plan living area with a large kitchen and separate laundry room with an additional dishwasher. The dining room leads down two steps to a large living room which can seat up to 10 people and a separate TV room which can hold another 6.

There are 3 bedrooms on the ground floor all of which are furnished with 2 single beds and en-suite bathrooms. Each one has individual access to outdoor balconies or courtyards.

On the first floor there are two further en-suite bedrooms – both doubles equipped with a vast conjoined balcony, exhibiting superb views of the surrounding scenery.

The charming living room on the ground floor has a wood burning fire creating a cozy atmosphere for the cooler winter evenings. This leads out onto a spacious balcony fitted with a variety of seating areas, an outdoor dining table and a BBQ.

Leading down from this balcony is the most unique feature of the villa, a classical wooden bridge that spans over the pool and into a shaded garden. Equipped with a child friendly safety fence, the pool is surrounded by 8 colorful sun-loungers and matching umbrellas.

Overlooking the pool is the newest addition to this villa, an annex room which can be rented in additition to the villa. The annex has a small kitchenette and en-suite bathroom, TV and two sofa beds, offering the perfect solution for teenagers, nannies or overflow guests.
