Overview

Villa Atlantica is set in an exlcusive residential area in Estrela de Serra which includes great outdoor facilities, plenty of space yet has high security because the access to this residential area is exclusively for guests. The perfect place from which to explore the area. 

 

Accommodation 

Villa Atlantica is one of several set on a private estate and as such the exact villa will not be known until arrival. The villas are all of the same standard and have the same facilities but the exact decor and loyout may differ.

The villa features a fully equipped modern kitchen with granite countertops, complete with a microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, kettle, toaster, and coffee machine, as well as all essential cookware and utensils. Additional conveniences include a washer, dryer, and ironing facilities, while an inviting eat-in dining area comfortably seats up to six guests.

Decorated in neutral tones the sunny and bright living room has an oversized sofa suitable for one or two small children to sleep on. Living room offers seating for 8 and and leads onto south facing veranda. Apart from the main living room, there is a 2nd sitting room on the 2nd floor.  There is also a terrace on the 2nd floor with total privacy.

Outside

 Outside guests can enjoy alfresco dining facilities, sunbathing terraces and a private pool. 

 

Local area

Villa Atlantica is within a 15 min drive to the spectacular golf courses of Quinta Marinha, Pena Longa and Oitavos. A short distance away you can enjoy a lovely lunch at the Don Quixote Restaurant. This terrace bar is located at a windmill just a stone's throw away from the Westernmost point in Europe.

Sit relaxing with Sangria in your hand and an incomparable view of the Guincho Beach and the Atlantic in front of you and the Sintra Hills behind. A truly perfect location for sunsets. Pay a visit to Cabo da Roca, the most Westerly point of Europe where you can enjoy a cliff top walk with spectacular views and visit to local tourism point.

Just north of Sintra is the delightful old town of Ericeira takes you back in time to the days when it was a tiny fishing village. Cobbled streets, white-washed houses and a plethora of restaurants and cafes offer excellent food, especially the sea-food for which Portugal is deservedly famous.
