Golf

The Signature Golf Course - "Monte Rei North" - opened for play in June 2007. This par 72 Championship golf course measuring 6567m from the Tournament tees is a truly unique design; with water coming into play on eleven of the eighteen holes, the golf course features an enjoyable series of eight par-4s, five par-3s and five par-5s in a challenging and distinctive layout.

The golf course's presentation is highly individual, each hole a design gem blending effortlessly into this natural canvas, from its ingeniously shaped and sculptured bunkers, to the impressive presentation and attention to detail making every hole as remarkable as the next; fairways and greens are bordered by several lakes, indigenous plants, native grasses and trees adding drama to the landscape, and providing golfers with unforgettable moments to cherish in this unique and tranquil golf environment.

The Vistas restaurant offers a complete gourmet experience, providing the ultimate in gastronomic delights with a unique ambiance and uncompromising level of service. The celebrated and award-winning chef Albano Lourenço brings his sublime culinary talents to the resort's signature restaurant. Albano remains true to his respect for the highest quality locally sourced ingredients, offering authentic culinary discoveries. Experience Chef Lourenço´s grand tasting menu paired with fine wines while dining in the opulent, high vaulted ceiling showpiece restaurant with stunning views out across the fairways and lake to the Atlantic Ocean.

The Grill provides an informal setting dining outside on the covered terrace or inside at the Clubhouse’s all-day restaurant. To enhance your day while at Monte Rei, Chef Lourenço has designed a range of light dishes from breakfast through lunch and afternoon snacks which use the best regional products to create local and international delicacies.

The Academy Café is the perfect setting for a light alfresco snack, and overlooks the tree-lined practice fairway, located conveniently at the "turn" near the 1st and 10th golf tee. The shaded terrace is a refreshing alternative to enjoy a house-made Grilled Panini Sandwich or a perfect frothy cappuccino.

Veranda is located at the heart of O Miradouro Village, and houses a restaurant and bar. Veranda Restaurant opens seasonally and is the ideal place for a light snack or an informal meal by the pool.
