The villa is nestled in a tranquil, authentically Portuguese area offering complete privacy, just 5 minutes from the historic town of Estoi. Olhao and Tavira are 15 to 20 minutes away, where you can explore their islands and beaches, shops and experience the typical Portuguese lifestyle and character. For those seeking livelier tourist destinations, Vilamoura and Albufeira with their stunning beaches are only 20 to 30 minutes drive away. Lisbon is a 2.5 hour drive, and interesting Spanish cities such as Seville are just 2 hours away.

Spacious Villa Accommodation for 10 Guests

Casa Flanco welcomes up to 10 guests across 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms (3 en suite). This distinctive single level villa is fitted with all modern conveniences whilst retaining its colonial charm. The property has been completely renovated during 2015/2016 using contemporary and authentic materials.

The villa features a large, fully equipped kitchen, a living room with fireplace, satellite TV, Sonos sound system and a spacious dining area. There are 3 large double bedrooms with air conditioning, satellite TV, closet safes and en suite bathrooms. Each en suite includes wash basins, separate shower and toilet, with one bathroom also featuring a large bath and bidet. The remaining 2 air conditioned twin bedrooms share one bathroom with washbasin, shower and toilet.

Modern Amenities and Entertainment

Across the inner courtyard at the front of the house is an extension offering a playroom with snooker table. A separate laundry room provides a washing machine, tumble dryer and iron. The kitchen comes equipped with dishwasher, large fridge and freezer, ovens, microwave and a Delonghi bean to cup espresso and cappuccino machine.

All bathrooms and the kitchen have been constructed with polished micro cement, each in their own colour. The living room has a Sonos sound system and satellite TV, with Sonos also available on the veranda. Free WiFi is available throughout the entire house and large parts of the garden.

Bed sheets and bath linens are provided. For families with young children, a cot and high chair are available. Entertainment options include a jeu de boules court (pétanque) on the east side of the house and a table tennis table with bats and balls. Around the pool are large parasols with comfortable cushioned deck chairs, plus diving goggles, pool floats and other swimming pool accessories.

Impressive Gardens and Outdoor Spaces

The impressive 150 metre long driveway, lined by over 130 cypress trees, leads up to this 50 year old colonial style luxury villa. A wide, arched veranda with a very large outdoor dining table overlooks the lavish 13x5 metre swimming pool with comfortable deck chairs, large parasols and stunning views across the garden to the sea. Adjacent to the kitchen is a large ivy covered terrace with a built in outdoor BBQ.

The luxury villa sits within a magnificent 10,000 square metre subtropical garden, filled with palm trees, bougainvilleas, numerous fruit trees (perfect for squeezing your own orange juice) and a large variety of colourful exotic plants, lovingly nurtured for over 50 years. The property is surrounded by fields filled with olive and almond trees.

The villa is ideal for families with children who love to play outside in the safely fenced expansive garden. Over 200 cypress trees throughout the garden give Casa Flanco its distinctive character. Whether you seek nature, swimming, culture, shopping, beaches, golf or simply relaxation, this villa offers it all.

Please note: the pool is unfenced and there are 2 fountains at the property. Parents should be advised to keep small children in sight at all times.

Please note: in May, June and September two consecutive weeks of rental is preferable. However, please check with the sales team if you only require one week as we may be able to accommodate.
