Overview

Aurora Luz is a 5 beroom property that has been thoughtfully divided into two separate, fully self-contained villas—each with its own private garden and pool. You can reserve one or both, depending on the size of your group.

The décor is a carefully curated blend of Portuguese craftsmanship, retro chic and Victorian English style. Each bathroom features luxurious brass fittings and marble floors, with underfloor heating available as needed. Air conditioning is provided throughout.

Main House

Ground Floor
Aurora Luz offers three beautifully appointed bedrooms on the ground floor, each with its own en-suite bathroom. A spacious kitchen-dining room opens onto views of the pool through wide patio doors, creating an easy indoor-outdoor flow. This level also includes a cloakroom, a gym, and external access to the spa room, featuring a sauna, ice bath, and rainfall shower.

The kitchen at Aurora Luz is fitted with Gaggenau appliances and a large American-style built-in fridge-freezer—perfect for longer stays with a full house.

Every bedroom at Aurora Luz is equipped with both fixed window blinds and blackout curtains, allowing for softly filtered afternoons and deeply restful nights. Two of the double rooms feature 1.9m-wide super king beds, while the third offers a 1.6m bed; one of the larger beds can be split into twin singles on request.

Upstairs
A winding Rosso Levanto marble staircase leads upstairs at Aurora Luz to a 30m² living room with sea views, opening onto a large terrace that wraps around the house. A second cloakroom is also located on this floor.

Bathrooms throughout Aurora Luz feature Lefroy Brooks of England brass fittings and marble floors, with underfloor heating available as required.

The Garden Cottage

The Garden Cottage at Aurora Luz offers a relaxed, self-contained retreat, ideal for families or smaller groups. It features one double bedroom and one twin room, both sharing a well-appointed bathroom.

The generous double bedroom is furnished with an impressive 2.1m × 2.1m bed, while the twin room is perfect for children or additional guests.

At the heart of the cottage is an open-plan kitchen, dining, and lounge area, designed for easy, sociable living. Checkered marble floors run throughout the space, continuing into the hall and bathroom, adding a distinctive touch of character and style.

Outside

Both the Villa and the Garden House at Aurora Luz enjoys its own private garden and pool—one heated, the other unheated—offering flexibility for different preferences. A large built-in BBQ is set on the main terrace, perfect for outdoor dining.

Steps lead up from the terrace to a comfortable seating area beneath a shaded gazebo, ideal for relaxing out of the sun.

The coastal path lies just 280 metres away; Praia da Luz is a scenic 2.5km walk along the cliffs, while the charming village of Burgau is just 2km in the opposite direction.
