The Pine Cliffs golf course ranks amongst Portugal's most distinctive and challenging layouts, built within a stunning pinewood setting at the edge of dramatic cliffs overlooking the beautiful Algarve beaches and Atlantic Ocean beyond. This 9 hole championship course, whilst compact with only 2 holes exceeding 360 metres, provides a genuine test for golfers of all handicap levels.
Renowned architect Hawtree's primary objective was preserving the natural environment whilst creating a memorable golfing experience. The immaculately maintained course begins with 2 accessible opening holes before the challenge intensifies from the 3rd hole, a Par 4 requiring a precise drive through a narrow corridor between towering pine trees.
The course's signature hole, the Devil's Parlour, arrives at the 6th. This spectacular Par 3 features a championship tee dramatically positioned over a ravine, demanding a courageous 205 metre carry shot directly over the beach to reach a deep yet narrow green.
The Golf Academy showcases state of the art facilities including an indoor teaching bay equipped with advanced swing analysis cameras and software.
