There are a handful of local restaurants within short walking distance, wonderful cliff walks to enjoy and of course, staying here means you’ll be the first to wake up to the sounds and views of the bay!


Casa Benagil is a bright, airy two bedroom cottage, simple yet very tasteful inside with fabulous views throughout of the bay below. The rooms are all spacious, very well equipped and beautifully maintained.

There are two bedrooms, one double with ceiling fan, and an air conditioned twin bedroom (can be made as a double/king), plus two shower rooms, making this an ideal space for two couples or a small family. The kitchen is well equipped, and the living area is attractive, stylish and has doors leading out to the wide private terrace, from which guests will want to enjoy all their meals and BBQ’s whilst soaking up the views. From the terrace are steps leading to the golden sand beach and beautiful clear blue ocean, surrounded by cliffs.

Local area

Benagil is a quieter, traditional fishing village in the Algarve and is famous for its sea caves beneath cliffs with amazing ocean views. Kayaking and boat excursions to view the sea caves along this stunning coastline are all on offer from your doorstep - highly recommended.

The village of Benagil has 5 restaurants all within walking distance to the cottage, which serve locally caught fresh seafood, whilst Carvoeiro is just a 5 minute drive away with an abundance of restaurants, gift shops and bars to suit all tastes.

Golf enthusiasts can enjoy many courses: Quinta do Gramacho and Vale da Pinta, plus Silves and Alvor are all close. For fun loving families both the Slide & Splash and Aqualand water parks are also within a ten minute drive.

Please be aware that the terrace has a low bounding wall edged with planters, please be careful with children who may be tempted to climb.


There is no allocated parking at the property, but you will find nearby parking in Benagil village (reached via a footpath and steps) or a car park on the headland.
