Villa Chiara

OVERVIEW

The rolling hills and lush landscape of the Val d'Orcia and the Val di Chiana is covered in rich vegetation and vineyards, olive groves, cypress trees, chestnut trees and beech woods. Villa Chiara was built as a country farm in the 1700’s and is a short distance from the thermal baths of Borgo of San Casciano dei Bagni.

Recently restored using natural materials from the area, the villa offers comfort and ample space for families or group of friends. In the summer you can always find shaded areas around the pool, garden and woods where you can pass the time relaxing with a good book. In the winter months the villa offers warmth and cosiness from the many fireplaces giving a lovely mellow atmosphere.

Villa Chiara is surrounded by gardens, shaded areas, oak, olive and fruit trees on all sides. At night lights and candles transform the pool area into a wonderful space where food and drink can be enjoyed under the canopy of stars.

ACCOMMODATION

The dining room boasts a great dining table, there is a a fireplace next to the fully equipped kitchen where you can find access to the garden and the pool terrace. A lounge room with books and satellite tv is ideal space to keep the children in your group entertained. The lounge room opens out to the wisteria shaded pergola area where you can relax with an aperitif on a hot summer's afternoon.

Up the stairs onto the next floor you will find a large spacious lounge boasting a fireplace with comfortable divans for the entire group. A pallet fireplace will warm the cooler evenings and the satellite tv and dvd will be appreciated on those cosy evenings in.

A beautiful covered terrace overlooks the woods and offers the perfect ambience for tastings where local specialities and a glass of wine can be enjoyed.

LOCAL AREA

A few metres from the villa there is a small restaurant for the exclusive use of guests on request. The chef, Francesco, prepares lunches and dinners guiding the guests in the tasting of local products and specialities, with genuine Tuscan recipies. Special attention for vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and allergy menus. Francesco can also organise cooking lessons and pizza parties.
