Villa Lysia enjoys an idyllic location amongst an enchanting olive grove, forming part of a grand country estate with unspoiled natural surroundings. The property offers the perfect blend of seclusion and convenience.

Trapezaki beach is just 1.5 km away and features a delicious traditional tavern. Various other beautiful sandy beaches can be found along the stunning coastline. The surrounding villages of Poriarata, Mousata and Peratata offer local shops and mini markets for essentials. The airport is conveniently located just 10 km from the villa.

Outstanding In House Chef Service

Guests staying at Villa Lysia enjoy the services of a fabulous in house chef, included in the mid to high season rate from 15th June to 20th September. Outside this period, chef services are available for an additional charge.

The talented chef prepares breakfast, snacks and prepares and serves 1 main meal per day, 6 days per week. Upon arrival, guests are presented with a menu from which to choose their meals throughout the stay. Guests pay for groceries with receipts provided by the chef. During your stay, you will have the wonderful opportunity to dine at the old Olive Mill premises once. An additional fee of €250 per week is paid upon arrival to the chef to cover out of house hours including shopping, car fuel and extra hours.

Despite the villa's prime location and close proximity to restaurants, beaches and mini markets, it is highly advised to rent a car. The villa owners work closely with the most reliable car rental company on the island and can arrange for rental cars to be delivered directly to the villa. Guests are strongly advised to take advantage of this opportunity as they will have exclusive access to discounted prices. Car rental should be requested in advance of arrival. Kefalonia is one of the largest Greek islands and it would be a pity not to explore its undulating grandeur, beautiful scenery and charming traditional villages.

Upon arrival at Villa Lysia, guests receive a complimentary welcome hamper containing wine and local Kefalonian products. You will also be presented with a comprehensive folder containing useful information and recommendations on beaches, restaurants, excursions, sightseeing and local attractions.

From June to September, additional extras and concierge services are available including cooking lessons, car and motorbike rentals, skippered motor and sailing boat hire, helicopter hiring, yacht chartering, extra personnel, in house massage treatments and more. Local wines from well known Kefalonian wineries can be purchased for guests at competitive prices. A visit can be arranged to the ancestral award winning Haritatos winery, the only old winery to have survived on the island, where you can sample excellent local wines.
