Villa Kartyro – also known as Villa Karteros – is a spacious and welcoming holiday home on the island of Crete, perfectly positioned near the seaside village of Karteros. Offering sea views, a large private pool, manicured gardens, and just a short transfer from Heraklion International Airport, the villa ticks all the boxes for a perfect holiday in Greece.

With 5 bedrooms and space for up to 10/11 guests, Villa Kartyro is fully air-conditioned and ideal for large families or groups of friends. The sandy beach is just 800 metres away, making it easy to enjoy morning swims or sunset strolls by the sea. Highly appreciated for its charming atmosphere and excellent value for money, this villa continues to attract returning guests year after year.

Accommodation

The villa is set over three spacious floors, with the main entrance located on the middle level.

Middle Floor (Main Entrance Level)
This floor features a large lounge with TV and comfortable sofas, a dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen. Two balconies offer pleasant views and additional outdoor space. Also on this level is a welcoming twin bedroom and a family shower room.

Upper Floor
Bright and airy, the upper floor includes:

• One double bedroom with a sea-facing balcony

• One twin bedroom

• A family bathroom with bathtub

• A sitting area with a sofa bed (suitable for an 11th guest if required)

Lower Floor (Garden Level)
With direct access to the gardens, this level offers:

• A second fully equipped kitchen

• Dining and sitting areas

• One double bedroom

• One twin bedroom

• A family shower room

The interiors are spacious, traditionally furnished, and thoughtfully designed to combine comfort and practicality.

Outside

The outdoor spaces are truly stunning and perfectly complement the villa’s generous interiors. Guests can enjoy manicured lawns, tall palm trees, fragrant flowers, shrubs, and beautiful sea views.

At the heart of the garden is a large private swimming pool (6m x 13.5m, depth 1.4m), exclusively for guests’ use. The pool is lit at night and surrounded by sunbeds and shaded areas, ideal for relaxing under the Cretan sun. (Swimming pool open from 01/04 to 30/10.)

For al-fresco dining, there is a barbecue and outdoor dining area, perfect for long summer evenings. More active guests can take advantage of nearby horse riding facilities and water sports available in Karteros village.
