The villa comfortably sleeps 8 to 10 guests and features a large heated infinity pool, luxurious hot tub, private tennis court, free Wi-Fi throughout, and an indoor fitness area with playroom facilities.

Set within an impressive 8000 m2 plot, the property boasts beautifully landscaped gardens with manicured lawn areas, creating a private oasis for relaxation. Villa Massimo is just 20 minutes from the historic Venetian city of Chania, often called 'little Venice', and a convenient 15 minute drive from Chania Airport.

Ground Floor Living Spaces

The ground floor features an exceptionally spacious main living area that seamlessly extends to the outside tiled patios, sunbathing terraces, sitting areas and pool through large sliding window panels. The 8 metre window facing the sea has been ingeniously designed to completely slide open and disappear into the wall, creating a spectacular indoor outdoor living experience. When fully opened, the interior and patio areas merge into one expansive entertaining and relaxation space with marvellous views of the landscaped gardens and Cretan sea.

Inside, the modern interior showcases a designer corner sofa, large flat screen smart TV, DVD player, Naim Bluetooth music system and a dining table with seating for up to 10 people. The open plan Italian luxury kitchen is fully equipped with built in microwave and oven, oversized fridge freezer, dishwasher, central island with high stools, hob, and a downdraft extractor fan rising from the island. A Nespresso machine, blender and juicer are also provided for guest convenience.

A guest toilet is conveniently located off the main living area.

Bedroom Accommodation at Villa Massimo

Villa Massimo offers 4 double bedrooms spread over 3 levels, with 4 bathrooms in total. Three bedrooms have en suite bathrooms, and a 4th bathroom with a large walk in shower is adjacent to the ground floor bedroom, which can be shared with the fitness room. All 4 bedrooms feature fitted wardrobes and beds with high quality Dunlopillo mattresses.

The ground floor double bedroom includes a queen size bed with direct access to a sun terrace and views of the pool and Stavros mountain. Adjacent to this bedroom is a versatile fitness room and playroom containing two single sofa beds which can be configured as a double bed or two single beds to accommodate 2 additional guests. This multi purpose room is equipped with a flat screen smart TV, PlayStation 4, exercise bicycle, yoga mats and weights.

A few steps up from the ground floor to a mid floor level, you'll find a spacious bedroom with 2 single beds that can easily convert into a comfortable king size double bed. This room features a flat screen smart TV, en suite shower room and a private balcony overlooking the sea and White Mountains.

On the first level are two further bedrooms. The master bedroom boasts a king size bed, en suite shower room, walk in wardrobe, luxury freestanding bath and a sliding wall panel with built in smart TV and DVD player. The second double bedroom on this level has a queen size bed and an en suite shower room.

Both upstairs bedrooms offer outstanding sea views and direct access to the oversized balcony and decked terrace area featuring a large hot tub overlooking the Cretan sea with lovely sunset views.

All bedrooms are comfortably furnished with luxury beds, fitted wardrobes, bedside cabinets, USB charging ports and bedside lighting. Hairdryers are provided in all bedrooms for guest convenience.

Modern Amenities and Comfort

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the house and in all outside areas. Built for year round living, Villa Massimo features full air conditioning units in every room and underfloor heating throughout. All windows are fitted with insect screens and electrically operated roller shutters. Windows have been treated with sun reflective material to further reduce summer temperatures inside the villa.

Towels, including pool and beach towels, are provided for all guests. Full cleaning service with linen and towel changes are provided mid week during your stay.

Outdoor Facilities and Gardens

Villa Massimo is set within fully landscaped gardens and features an attractive 70 m2 heated infinity swimming pool with an additional shallow area with seating, perfect for families. An outdoor shower is conveniently located by the pool. The modern pergola houses an outside covered dining area with seating for 10 guests, offering views over the pool to the sea and Stavros mountain. It features an outdoor kitchen area with gas BBQ, fridge, sink and an outside toilet.

Set within the lovely landscaped gardens with flowers and trees, there is a private fenced tennis court with an asphalt playing surface. All equipment for the tennis court is supplied. A table tennis table with equipment is also provided for guest entertainment.

Large sun terraces surround the villa, furnished with luxury sunbeds and designer lounge chairs. The first floor features a separate hot tub and outdoor lounge area overlooking the Cretan sea where you can relax at the end of the day and enjoy amazing sunsets over the bay of Chania.

Basement Facilities

The villa includes a basement parking area with remote control garage door and internal access into the house. A utility room contains a sink, washing machine, dryer, ironing board and iron for guest use.

Location and Local Area

Villa Massimo enjoys an excellent location on the Akrotiri peninsula near Chania in Western Crete. The beautiful beaches of Tersanas, Kalathas and Stavros are just a few minutes from the villa and all have lovely fish restaurants and beach bars. Stavros is a beautiful cove with a small harbour where the Oscar winning 'Zorba the Greek' movie was filmed.

The area is perfect for relaxing and has many monasteries and caves waiting to be explored in the mountain range which runs along the length of the peninsula. There are plenty of local supermarkets, restaurants and bars offering local and international cuisine, as well as facilities for horse riding, sailing and scuba diving nearby.
