Villa Mala is a beautiful farmhouse offering 5 bedrooms, on the outskirts of the village of Can Concos, close to Cala d’Or on the island of Mallorca. Set amidst magnificent, mature, colourful gardens with 5 lawn areas, a 15m swimming pool, private tennis court and children's grassed play area with slide, swing and sandpit, Villa Mala offers everything for a perfect family holiday.

Ground Floor

Set in 20,000m² the winding gravel drive leads you to this beautifully restored 250 year-old farmhouse surrounded by colourful mature gardens.

Inside, there are many original features including local hand-crafted and antique furniture which have been carefully restored and retained.

The grand hall is furnished with many original artefacts including the beautiful, regency styled, mahogany dining table. Adjacent is the relaxing and cosy "Snug", now mainly used as a quiet reading room. This was the original kitchen and still has the old stone wash basin with 200 year old "splash back" tiles. The original stable has been transformed into the modern fully fitted teak kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, large fridge/freezer, water filter providing chilled and heated water, electric oven with infra-red hob, eye-level fitted cupboards and Nespresso coffee machine. 

The utility room houses the washing machine, dryer and a further fridge.

The open aspect living room has comfy sofas, Satellite on a LED TV with English and German channels, PlayStation 3 with two handsets, CD with iPod docking station Bose system, WIFI internet connection, corner bar, feature wood burning fireplace and twin French doors opening to the poolside arched terraces.

First Floor

Stairs lead up to the Main Master double bedroom suite with king size bed, and a beautiful "Romanesque" style tiled en-suite shower room and ladies dressing room area.

The poolside second Master bedroom has king size double bed and a "Mediterranean Blue" tiled en-suite bath/shower room with far-reaching countryside views across the colourful gardens and terraces to open countryside.

The third double bedroom has mellow yellow terracota coloured walls, built in pine wardrobes and garden views across the orange grove towards the tennis court.

Adjacent is an attractive fully tiled Bath/shower room shared by the spacious fourth bedroom, with double bed, maraise study desk and garden/patio views.

The open plan study room can be used with an extra bed and has a selection of owners interesting books. All rooms have double glazing, cooling Mediterranean Terracota tiles and free-standing fans. There are hairdryers in each bathroom. 

Garden and surroundings

Originally planted out in 1987, you can now enjoy the full benefit of these magnificent grounds with five lawns, many citrus trees including orange, lemon, grapefruit, clementines, avocado, pomegranates, scented herbs and lavender.

Plenty of room for children to play within the walled grounds and including a grassed area with children's swing and slide adjacent to the good sized sandpit (which can also be used for Petanca).

Enjoy a quiet stroll along the winding paths leading to secluded stone seated areas in quiet corners of the garden, ideal relaxation whilst reading a book or watching the children play on the verdant lawns.

The large local mares stone rear terrace has table tennis and a stone built BBQ casita and covered dining patio, ideal for al-fresco meals. 

A further covered dining terrace is adjacent to the pool.

The mozaic tiled 15.00m - 7.00m crystal clear swimming pool with roman steps, has large sun terraces all comfortably furnished with reclining sun loungers.

One very special poolside feature to one end of the pool is the unique colourful bougainvillea covered terrace with outdoor cushioned comfortable sofa's.

Adjacent is the poolside casita with interior covered relaxing area and chilled drinks fridge/freezer.

This is one of finest attractive and relaxing poolside terraces we offer and on clear starlight evenings the solor system views are amazing. For enthusiastic astronomers this is a must.

A short stroll through the gardens leads to the private tennis court. This is a full sized tennis court offered to clients to enjoy the many benefits for tennis enthusiasts. Four tennis racquets and an ample supply of tennis balls are provided.

Tourist Tax

Please note that guests will be required to pay a tourist tax along with the final balance payment. The tax is charged per person, per day and there are no charges for children under the age of 16 at time of travel.
