Overview

Atlanta is a five bedroom Premier Villa of some 5000m2 located in the Sintra/Cascais national Park and inside the Unesco Patrimony area.

Accommodation

This 430m2 villa was built around 1950 and was completely recovered during the 2017-2019 years with high standards of comfort and architecture features respecting the historic traces of these region (Colares).

The living area is facing the carefully planted garden bordered by the Colares stream and Sintra's mountains. It has a 20m/3,5m (depth around 1,60m) heated salt water swimming pool and a front porch with barbecue with seat for 16 people, fireplace and wooden oven. Also it has a social WC near the pool and a separate laundry house.

Ground floor:

  • 2 living rooms (one with suspended fireplace and a 4m window facing the pool and garden)
  • 1 dining room
  • 1 social WC
  • Full equipped kitchen with a cellar

1st floor:

  • 1 double bed suite also featuring an outside porch with bath tub and shower facing Sintra's forest
  • 1 double bed suite facing the garden with a balcony
  • 1 triple bunk bed bedroom with separate WC (with shower and bath tub) suited only for children under 12 years old (maximum 6)
  • 1 double bed suite with garden view

2nd floor:

  • 1 double bed suite with wooden ceiling and garden view (access by steep stairs)

The access of the property is made through electrical gates and it has a covered parking area with a WC.

People with disabilities can enter through this gate to access the garden and ground floor and may go through the main entrance to access the 1st floor (suite's area).

Location

This villa is located near several points of interest of this region like Sintra's villa and it's palaces, the Moorish castle, Monserate Park and palace, Seteais Park, Quinta da Regaleira, Monastery os Capuchos and several beautiful gardens.

Some of the most beautiful Atlantic beaches are easily reached by car like Praia Grande, Pequena, Ursa, Adraga, Maçãs, and Cabo da Roca (Cape Roca) which is the westernmost point of Continental Europe.

Several nice villages around the area are worth a visit like penedo, Colares; Almoçageme and Azenhas do Mar Numerous nice restaurants can be found, some of them near the beaches. Also don't forget Sintra ?s famous delicacies that you can get in the Siontra's old center  (Piriquita House) Sintra's electric tram can provide you a 40 min (around 3€) ride from Sintra's center to Praia das Maçãs (beach) along 11,7Km
