Amelie II


Amelie II is part of a complex of three luxury residences located in the centre of Patmos, one of the smaller of the Dodecanese Islands. With 3 bedrooms, Amelie II is a beautiful Premier Villa with breathtaking views over the Aegean Sea.


The complex which was completed in 2017 consists of two separate buildings which house 3 beautiful holiday villas, Amelie I, Amelie II and Amelie III. Amelie II is the second largest of the complex and it is on the west side of the second building. Its total surface area is 150m² and it expands over two floors. The buildings all offer panoramic views of the sea.

A stand-out feature of the three residences are the traditional inner courtyards (patios), located at the back. These completely secured and private areas are designed for outdoor living, filled with plants and flowers, small pools, outdoor kitchens and large dining areas.

Each villa’s layout is unique with distinctive elements, even though they all share a common aesthetic style in their design. They alternate between studios and multiple-room flats, with large or smaller spaces, elegant bathrooms and kitchens, thus covering every possible residence option. Hand-picked art pieces, furniture, and appliances establish a highly personal environment, always offering a unique, pleasant visiting experience.

Amelie II is the second largest one and it is on the west side of the second building. Its total surface area is 150m² and it expands over two floors.

Upper floor (ground floor from the back side), the residence’s main section, there is a lounge area and a kitchen, a cosy bathroom and two bedrooms. The lounge area and the bedrooms have a direct view and access to a large balcony that extends to the front and overlooks the sea. All areas can be accessed from the inner courtyard (secured by a stone wall), which has a small pool.

Lower ground floor, there is a guesthouse, which includes a bedroom, and a spacious bathroom, along with a lounge area and a small, fully equipped kitchen. It has a direct view and access to the yard that extends to the front and overlooks the sea. The residence can be accessed from the upper floor’s courtyard via stairs, so that guests can make use of the nearby small pool.


Sapsila Village is a lovely seaside settlement that lies between Skala and Grikos in the centre of the Island, which mainly accommodates vacationers. The village is tiny and quiet with only a few picturesque whitewashed houses and an attractive beach for relaxation. The tranquil beach can be easily accessed, while the bay, full of old cottages with gardens, and the small church of St. Nicholas by the sea make up a serene, picturesque scenery.

It doesn't get very crowded and therefore you will find all the peace you want here. In the wider area though you will find several tavernas serving delicious fish dishes. Sapsila is an ideal destination for those seeking a peaceful holiday.

In close proximity, there is Loukakia bay with its namesake beach, which can be easily accessed as well.  Its scenery is uniquely picturesque, along with the monastery of St. Nektarios, the pebble beach, and the large tamarisks, while “pilafi” islet is so close that it can be reached by a short swim.

In recent years, high-standard tourist establishments and food service facilities have been developed in the wider area, thus making it a highly popular and renowned holiday destination.

How to get there

It is advisable to research this part of your journey ahead of travelling.

There is no airport on Pátmos, the only way to travel is by ferry; coming from overseas, fly to Kos with British Airways (, or EasyJet (0905 821 0905; and continue by mid-day catamaran (00 30 22410 70590; Dodekanisos Seaways) or conventional ferry (three evenings weekly on Blue Star (

From Athens (Piraeus, the port of Athens) there are up to five mid-afternoon ferries weekly, either with Hellenic Seaways ( or Blue Star, arriving at Skála, the port town of Pátmos, between 11pm and midnight. Howver, please be aware the journey from Athens takes up to 9 hours, so it is best to fly to Samos or Kos.
