In fact, this area offers plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities such as horse riding, fishing, hiking, cycling and archery. Avignon is further afield but its dramatic ramparts, fascinating Palais du Papes and artistic treasures certainly deserve a visit during your holiday in Provence.
