Each of the four double bedrooms has its own character with unique pieces of furniture and wood-beamed ceilings. There are two especially wonderful master bedrooms, each with their own flat-screen TVs, smart bathrooms and balconies where you can catch a glimpse of the Atlantic ocean.
This is the sort of home that will be hard to leave with the spacious decked terrace for leisurely al-fresco lunches, a plancha barbecue for dining under the stars and a glorious garden with an inviting heated swimming pool. Yet it’s just a short stroll to the beach, popular with families and surfers alike, or to one of the lovely restaurants by the coast.
You can also wander out to a fantastic gourmet market to stock up on local produce and Basque specialities or head south to Biarritz, just a 10-minute drive away, where you can admire the decadent Art Deco buildings, eat local seafood in one of the restaurants around Port des Pecheurs or relax with locals and tourists alike on the famous La Grande Plage.

If you have the time you may also wish to hire a car or arrange a private tour of some of the other wonderful parts of the Pyrénées-Atlantiques region, whether pretty seaside towns near the Spanish border or idyllic Basque villages close to the mountains.
